Southwest Greens has recently commemorated our fifteenth year in the EMEA zone — an achievement we are proud of. Starting out as a “cowboy” by adopting a synthetic soccer turf and labeling it a tee box to engineered solutions that play and look genuine — a great deal has changed.
At Southwest Greens, we start developing while keeping the end result in mind. We strive to develop artificial putting green turf that has the same appearance of genuine grass. The behavior we stated is in terms of ball behavior — more particularly — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. We call this project “Science Behind The Surface,” and we examine our synthetic turf against natural turf with a playability assessment tool.
